Certificates
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is an international testing and certification system for textile products that sets limits on the use of certain chemicals. Developed in 1992.
If all textile components meet Oeko-Tex requirements without exception, the manufacturer receives a certificate and the right to place the Oeko-Tex label on products and in stores. The Oeko-Tex certificate is issued for a period of one year and can be extended upon further successful testing. To ensure that the test criteria are in fact met, Oeko-Tex authorized institutes annually carry out control tests on at least 15% of all certificates issued by Oeko-Tex for products available in stores.
